When planning the renovation of their new house, the owners knew they wanted to use Crittall products after installing them in a previous kitchen renovation.
They knew the quality, feel and joy the windows and doors brought to a home and their interior design choices.
Moving into a rural setting, they knew nothing compared to the natural quality of steel and the thin framing they knew only Crittall would offer and wanted windows and doors that weren’t a barrier to the outside to blend beautifully with the outside.
RAL7032, was chosen – a different, soft, earthy, pale green for all of the windows and doors in the whole property to maximise their stunning views with a French-style
inspired design having two horizontal bars close together for the patio doors, to ensure a perfect view.
A large apex window was designed in the master bedroom which sits perfectly in the newly cladded gable of this chalet-style house, repeated in a smaller form in the new side extension bedroom helping ensure all the design elements worked alongside each other with a build sympathetic to the original house and gable its most prominent feature.
The outbuilding garden room has a corner window to maximise the view, with the windows and doors in classic Crittall black to work with the scorched cladding surrounding the structure’. See the full coverage here.
